Keri received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from the University of Memphis, in Memphis, Tennessee. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a National Certified Counselor, Certified Employee Assistance Professional and a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional under the Department of Transportation guidelines. She specializes in the areas of couples, adolescents and their families, substance abuse, as well as business and industry.
As the director of Solutions Employee Assistance Program, and as a clinician in private practice, Keri provides risk management services, therapy, workshops, and other wellness needs for numerous companies both in Southwest Louisiana and on a national level. She developed the program for divorcing parents used in Calcasieu Parish called “Successful Partners in Parenting.” Keri is also a contributing columnist to the magazine Thrive, for which she writes a monthly column regarding psychological health matters. Keri promotes volunteerism through membership in The Junior League of Lake Charles, Inc., for which she is a past president, and as a past board member of the Calcasieu Women’s Shelter. Additionally, she is a past president of the Louisiana Marriage and Family Counselor’s Association.
Keri has been named one of the Outstanding Young Women of America.
